Slightly hazy golden, spicy, vaguely woody hop nose. Fairly bitter, resiny and chewy, with a citrus bite and at the finish some clean pale malts.

Cask at the Trafalgar, Wimbledon. Pale gold with a lacy white head, citrus and grassy hop nose with golden malt hints, crisp, well balanced malt and dry bitterness, hints of biscuit and grapefruit, lovely!

Cask at Pratts and Payne. Pours a hay colour with a thin white head. Aroma is crisp and hoppy with a nice veg funk edge. Starts sweet, then light lemon and a nice medium hoppy bitterness. It's thin, but ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

August 31, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Union Tavern (Maida Vale). Slightly hazy light gold with a smallish foamy white head. Smells like a well-made if slightly dull classic golden ale - honey ’n heather, not much alcohol. Taste is less grassy than some, more honey sweetness. Light body, slightly slick, weakly carbonated, a little extra grassiness eventually emerges in the finish. Solid but the unassumingness takes away from my score - I would certainly drink it again on a warm summer evening by the Regent Canal.

Cask gravity dispense @ brewery. Solid citrus American hop aroma, good body and mouthfeel for a fairly low grav beer. Long lasting bitterness. One of the better Golden Ales, really liked this one.

Cask@The Railway, Streatham, London - Golden/yellow pour with a decent white head. Zesty, fruity both in aroma and taste, nice notes of lemon, some pale malt, clean and fresh on the palate, with a nice bitter finish. Highly easy drinking/session-able. Lovely golden ale this.

Cask at the 2013 Maidenhead Beer Festival. A hazy straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; citrus aroma; fresh citrus flavour with a grainy body; and a crisp grapefruit finish. Light and refreshing.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Spicy straw on the nose, some dried pale malts. Light sweet flavor with some bitter grains, white bread, straw. Light of body and carbonated finely. Pleasant finish, more straw and dry pale malts. Good session golden ale.

Gravity @ Wandsworth Common BF 2013. The pour’s light gold with a small head. The nose is honey nut cheerios. Grain. Mild summery orchard fruits. The taste is lemon citrus, sherbet hops. A bit of white bread, syrup. Light body. Hints of buttery diacetyl. Fine carbonation. Overall, fine.

Lovely crisp, hoppy golden ale, with a pleasing tartness, light aeration, gentle hop bite and a long bitter finish. Impressed. This is exactly what a good golden ale should be.
