An english IPA. Not bad. Punchy bitterness from the noble hops but i miss the fresh citrus notes new world hops would bring. A decent malt with biscuit and caramel.

Cock Tavern. Cask. Almost clear gold beer with a tidy off white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Light and fine carbonation. Light but fresh orangey hops. Touches of lemon and grapefruit. Finishes softish and semi dry. Nice hops but there is a touch of raw malt coming through at the end.

August 20, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Wenlock Arms. Ever so slightly hazy amber-gold with a decent very white rocky head. Light golden ale aroma, heather, pungent cut grass, a hint of a Belgian yeast. Taste follows, more pungency, not much alcohol - pretty solid, if unassuming. Light but chewy body, lightly squeaky, finishes quick bit dry. Nice.

Cask @ CPBF 2013. The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is cantaloupe, some lemon meat. Orchard fruits. The taste is of golden syrup, oatmeal cookies. Marmalade, soft citrus. Light earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, quite good.
