Amber color; thin head. The aroma is lightly fruity, with some caramel and hop. Medium sweet caramel flavor with a light fruity touch. Nice hopping. Pleasant.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, dusty, rye, fruity - berry, figs, toffee - caramel notes, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20081227]

A Mes rate. Cask at the Market Porter. Mid brown with a slight white collar. Good balance of fruity malt and decent lick of tobacco tinged hop. Really good fruity malt again in the finish with plenty of earth and really good bready notes. Straight forward but well made and enjoyable.
