[RBESG, Sheffield] Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield. (Handbottle). Hazy golden with a fine white head. Aroma of citric hops. Low carbonation(mostly due to handbottling). Nice flavour of pine and citric hops.

[bottle at RBESG 2009, Grand Tasting] Slight ginger aroma with celery and spicy hops. Hazy dark yellow under a lasting white cover. Very bitter lemon peel flavour that is dry and with only a little malt character. Light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish.

Golden coloured very hoppy and strong in alcohol with a dry and very bitter malt finish. 2. Cask Handbottle at RBESG Harlequin, Sheffield 19/07/2009 Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hazy in appearance and strong in alcohol with a little dryness and acidic taste in a bitter finish.

Bottle at RBESG grand tasting. Hand bottle from cask. Hazy gold lasting white head. Got strong and pale syrup some decent rose petal hoppy but not very bitter. Acidic light citrus fruits but not over bitter. Really chewy hops.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, hay, butter, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20090416]

Hand bottle at home thanks to the Evil Empire ... amber no head ... nice sweet and juicy nose ... big bitter hop front ... rich resiny hops ... quite fruity ... little grapefruit ... quite drying ... very still cause of the hgand bottling and i think this beer suffers from that... i think the original carbonation would bring this beer to bright life... none the less quite tasty
