Cask at the Blenheim, Oxford, 28-03-09 Pours amber in colour with a white head. Decently fruity and with a lasting and pleasant bitterness, not much on the aroma front to grab yer’. Good hoppiness shows throughout and whilst not overly exciting its certainly nice enough. A6 A5 F7 P3 OV13 3.2

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Did I detect an odd ashy hint of cocoa in the aroma? Or was it just faint fruitiness? Also in the taste? Some bitterness to finish. Peculiar but not bad.
