Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Rustic dark brown coloured body, clear and well conditioned. Frothy tanned head. Woody, oaked flavour, mild roasted notes. There’s possibly a debate to be had as to whether this is a mild or not (but isn’t there always)? I could see this being a Old. Nutty after taste with coffee and rustic notes.

Very dark purple/red. Aromas are earthy, floral and hoppy with light malts. Has a smooth chocolate palate with more earthy flavours. Some floral hops. A touch thin.

Black frothy beer with an airy malty aroma and a light coffee flavour. Overall a watery coffee mild.
