Half pint, in perfect shape, served at the right drinking temperature by air pressure dispense at The Bow Bar. Deep golden brown body. Thin white head. Good lacing. Prominent hop floral aroma. Initial sharp, hop fruity taste of grapefruits, developing into a smoother bitter ending. Well bodied for its strength [Edinburgh, 24.10.2008]

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Balanced pale and grassy citrus malts, not too exciting, but easy drinking.

Cask, gravity, at Wellington Arms Winter Festival of Ale. Pale gold. Citric hop aroma. Rather soapy hop taste. Mid bitter finish. To be honest this is the sort of beer I don’t really get on with.
