Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with slight head. Not a run of the mill, Clark’s this, there is a sharp citrusy note, which I normally seek, but this doesn’t seem to fit with this beer, there is a G.K tea hop note. Overall the impression is of drinking cold lemon tea with digestive biscuits.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Moon On The Square Northampton. A golden beer with a whitish head and lacing. A strange beer which has fizzy pineapple notes throughout. It’s quite bitter but disjointed. Not special.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 3/11/10. Pale gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lime and floral hops. Sweet, rather thin flavour with plenty more citrus fruit and a dryish finish. Ok.

berkshirejohn (3014) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2010
Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley. Hazy amber with a tight off-white head that laced the glass nicely; earthy citrus aroma; sharp grapefruit flavour to start then developing into some digestive biscuits; the finish is clean and lightly bitter. An interesting pint.

Leighton (4095) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2010
Cask at The Central Bar. Pours pale, cloudy yellow with no head. Faint malt, yeast and vegetable aroma. Flavor is interesting. Quitr spicy, like autumn spices, with some bready sweetness and dry bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. The finish is fruity and very doughy. Interesting and not altogether bad.

Cask at Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford, in ’Spoons Beer Festival ’10. Bright amber. Very sweet aroma. Odd but quite appealing taste: some biscuity background, but the main impression is sweet, herby tea, with a mid bitter finish. Unusual, unexpected, but acceptable.

Cask @ John Moore. Light blonde-golden colour. Aroma is vegetable hops, little malty. Flavour is light malted and vegetables, bit of fruits. Not good!
