Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Pale gold with slight white head. This is a dull beer and typical of Clarks sharp metallic malt note. The hop is a basic vegetable note, boiled sprouts came to mind. Not very good.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy golden beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity. The flavor is sweet with notes of over-ripe fruits, some butterscotch, and a bit of metal, leading to a dry over-ripe fruity finish, which is a bit tart. The body is thin.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2009
A Mes rate: cask at the Ranelagh. Orange gold with a thin bubbly head. Bland sweetish malt aroma with some hint of apple flavoured boiled sweets. Pretty much identical flavour with a faint dusty bitterness in the finish. Watery and lifeless mouthfeel. Do the brewers not try these type of beers and realise how dull they are? A rather pathetic attempt.

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Milton Keynes. Copper gold with a small white head. Malt and grassy hop aroma. taste had a sweet maltiness with nettly hops. Background biscuit. Quite liked this, despite the sniggering Rugby themed name.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rodders (137) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2009
(Draught at the Waterfront, Diss) Pint looked orange/copper with an off white head. Smell was minimal but a nice air of citrus hops with sweet malt. Good bitter sweet taste - well balanced, finished medium dry with a hint of sugar on the tip of tongue. I thought this was pretty good actually, very refreshing after a long day, and perfect accomplice to the salmon and brie fishcakes I was having.

Bitter. Some sulphur on the end. Hoppy with a dry finish with some metal and sugar disguising the hint of malt on the end.
