Bottled. Gold, thin white head and moderate condition. Fruity and lightly perfumed with a trace of peppery hop but spoiled by an off note that gives it a chemical edge. Thin malt in the mouth but not enough to convince you you are drinking anything other than fizzy water. Quite hop bitter in the finish with some raw hop resin lingering.

This does not even deserve to be in the Beer Catagory. Yes it looks like beer with a golden body toped by a white smallish head. Faint hint of hopps in aroma and taste but both are very poor in my opinio. Bitter, unbalanced, weak and with little attractive flavor. Not worth the effort.

Call me crazy, but for some reason I don't find some of these low alcohols horrible. I buy them when I'm at home and get tired of pop and juice. I dunno....

Poured without head. Slight malty aroma as is the flavour. The taste also has a minor hoppy element together with a watery soapy aftertaste. It was not the glass.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2007 (Canned) Paleish golden color, medium, foamy head. Mild, grassy, ricey-malty aroma with some (but not that much) industrial-plasticky feel. Subdued grassy-hoppy bitterness in the flavor, along with a rubber-plasticy maltiness and some fruitiness. Light-bodied and sticky, but not watery palate with foamy and high, but reasonably smooth carbonation. A semi-bearable NA - certainly one of the best widely available NA pale lagers. I’d prefer water (or one real beer) when driving, though.

Pasteurised Bottle. BBE 06/05 Very low biscuit malt flavour. Neutral palate going into dry in the finish. Some low hop bitterness in finish. Metallic tones all over the place - aroma, front, middle and finish, even the after-taste is tin. Bad, bad, bad.

Decent N/A. Has a pleasant wort-like aroma and a decent light golden appearance with a good solid spongy head. Has a sweet, biscuity flavor with a malty undertone. Not much of a hop presence. Smooth palate.

Skunky malt aroma. Malt overtones on the whole affair -- aroma, flavor, aftertaste. Sweetish, grahamy. Reminds me of Labatt Nordic that I had when I was up in Toronto last year. Not a bad mouthfeel, better than O'Douls.

Clear yellow straw color with a moderate foamy white head. Wort and hops aroma. Sweet and worty flavors. More of a floral bitterness. Green hops tea with a spoon of extract.

Although this has an overly fizzy, sharp mouthfeel, there's actually a nice bready malt and light bitterness in the flavor. Color looks thin, but leaves nice lacing. Not a bad NA choice.
