Pale amber color with a fizzy white head. Light citrus and pine notes with some sweet malts. Some light citrus hops and malts in the flavor. Nothing really stands out, or makes this one stand out from the pack. It’s not bad but not something I’d search out again.

Pours a nice amber color with a thin head. Aroma is malt a little hops. Flavor is sweet caramel, a little hops bitterness. Passable session beer. Not great not terrible.

Appearance: Deep orange color with a large, frothy, off-white head. Good head retention and spotty lacing.
Aroma: Citrus and spice on the hops side, a bit of caramel and bread from the malt.
Flavor: Decent bready maltiness with a solid citrus and floral hop backbone. A decent spicy finish.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel and a medium, spicy finish.
Overall: Not a bad APA. It went well with the blue crabs I was eating. Take it or leave it.

Nice pale ale that has lots of caramel to it. Easily as much malt character in this one as the hops, and it really tastes more like a hoppy brown than a pale. Very nice though, pleasantly surprised.

Draft at BWI. Pours a dark amber with an off white head. Faint caramel and fruity ester aroma. Light bodied, approaching medium with a British mouthfeel. Malty flavor of caramel, toffee, maple, and nuts countered by a moderate, but balancing spicy bitterness. Very simple and balanced, and much better than the rating reflects. This is an enjoyable pale ale, but is really more in the British vein.

Bottle from a small but respects me shop in Baldwin,MD. Crystal clear reddish amber under a thin khaki head. Aroma of toasted malt and mild caramel. Flavor reminds me of a cross between an English Pale and a domestic Amber with a slightly metalic aftertaste. Strong malt profile but could use a healthier dose of hops. Short and dry finish. Not a bad beer but far from special.

Very nice amber pour. Sweet, grassy aroma with noticeable yeast. Pretty sweet and hoppy for a pale ale, with a touch of caramel and yeasty astringency. I wouldn’t mind washing down a crabcake with one of these.
