brew4fun (137), West Virginia, USA Apr 10, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper, short off-white head. Aroma is mild, hoppy with light caramel malts. Taste is an exceptionally balanced pale ale. Medium bitterness matched by medium malt sweetness. Add the medium-light body and crisp finish and this one is a winner!!
swoopjones (1274), Buffalo, New York, USA Oct 27, 2008 on draft in Baltimore Airport. Pours a nice caramel color. Mild hop aroma. seems more EPA to me. Hops are thete but somewhat muted. Flavor is well balanced & a very drinkable beer. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA Sep 15, 2008 Nice smooth pale ale. More relative to an English than an american pale ale. The hoppiness is decent for that style, but could use a little more body. All in all not a bad brew. Cletus (3593), Connecticut, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of beachbum25. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of perfume, and earthy. Tastes of light pepper, perfume, sweet malt. Nice. bigbish (115), USA Jul 30, 2008 Pours kind of a cloudy amber color, very little carbonation.
Aroma is very slight and sweet. Flavor has some hop bite to it, but really very little flavor. I can hardly taste anything in fact, its just kind of bitter.
Very disappointed. dkachur (1201), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 13, 2008 Bottle from In Vino Veritas in Keswick, VA. Red pour with a small head. Decent lacing. Malty aroma with a touch of citrus hops. Slightly bitter caramel and grain taste. A tad bit thin. Pleasant brew.
