Clay Pipe Blue Tractor Ale(RETIRED) | ||||||||||||||
RATINGS: 6 MEAN: 4.02/5.0 WEIGHTED AVG: 3.38 EST. CALORIES: 144 ABV: 4.8%
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Initially, the clean aroma of 100% North American, 2-Row, malted barley and the delicate hopping are most evident. This is followed by a predictable slightly malty-sweet taste as the beer hits your tongue. When your mouth fills with the beer, the maltiness will quickly turn to clean, slightly creamy, medium bodied richness, associated with a world-class ale. As the beer is enjoyed and subsequently swallowed, a distinct hop tingle will be felt on the back and sides of the tongue. This pronounced hop note, however, will dissipate quickly leaving a very clean finish on the consumer’s palate. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, Blue Tractor Ale leaves the taster fulfilled with beer flavor without the “heaviness in the belly” associated with many craft-brewed ales.
