3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DruncanVeasey (5146) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2010
Bottle conditioned. Ribena red with a slim beige cap. Aroma: lightly buttered berries with underlying coffee and lemon. Digestive biscuits dunked in milky coffee taste; hedgerow fruit, seawater, light coal. Biscuits and minerals, some restrained hoppy presence, blackcurrant and lemon. Drank this chilled in about 5 mins- typically a fairly reliable indicator of a beers..likeability. Decent, but if it’s their bitterest I’m not sure I want to taste the sweetest.
