COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A lighter hoppier beer. Although essentially a summer beer, it will appeal throughout the year due to its refreshing nature.
A lovely nose of crisp, fresh cut apples and melon accompanies a honeyed tone in the glass. It has a lightness but nothing is lacking. A faint velvety bubble and a light biscuit taste, along with the most delicate of tannins. No dry mouth or bitterness here. It is in essence a faithful, traditional style ale but also a light, hoppy thirst quencher. A real ale so focused on warm weather that it could conceivably challenge the range of lagers most commonly drunk. Try it cold.

Maybe a bad barrel, but this has a skunky flavour which makes it horrible to drink.

Cask (handpump) at Great British Beer Festival, day 4 on 5 August 2011. Mod gold colour. It is quite appley on the nose. Clean and dry. Not that much aromatic hop apparent. Quaffable. Another golden ale that did the job but didn’t stand out from the crowd of similar beers at this festival.

Cask (GBBF2011, Friday)
Some perfume, but also minerally. Some sweet caramalt too. Not much apart from the biscuity malts. Anna got honey in the aroma, I guess that’s a floral aspect behind my perfume. Simple grains in the mouth. Some husks in the finish.
