FoBAB 2010: My first beer of the day, yeah beer! Deep brown hue with an okay head and lace. The aroma has notes of oak and charred malt, roasted and chocolate malts, some oxidization. The taste has a cherry and lime acidity over a layer of vanilla bean and cocoa nibs, roasted and biscuity malts about the finish. The mouth feel is thin and soft with a noticeable boozy bourbon warmth. Honestly this is not so good, wanted much more, you think an Oatmeal Stout would more smoother on the palate.
