Tap at the brewery. Pale golden amber pour. Very worty aroma with some DMS character as well. Flavour is incredibly watery and underhopped. It’s got less hop aroma/flavour than the pale ale, which was itself underhopped. As it warms up it starts to taste like they brewed it with water that had previously been used to cook carrots and rutabegas. Gak.

Poured a clear golden amber with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of bread, earthiness and light grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Draft at GABF. They must have their shit together now. Pours a nice and attractive orange-gold with a fluffy white head. Nose is fresh and popping with citrus and some resiny pine. Nothing outstanding, but still nice. On tasting, firm malt backbone supports the big bitterness and nice combo of pine & citrus. Clean and refreshing and finishes quite dry. Really nice.

tap @ the ChopHouse - truly one of the worst IPAs I’ve ever tasted. Old vegetables and cheese. Arouma is deceptively normal. Finishes astringent and blechy.

On tap at the District ChopHouse in Cleveland on our way to RBSG. Pours a mostly clear, just barely hazed golden yellow amber with a medium sized white head. Caramel and vegetables. Sort of like a turnip flavored sweet tart. Quite unpleasant. Tastes like vegetables and sadness.

Parmesan cheese. Time to taste it. Wow, this is truly one of the worst things I’ve ever put in my mouth. How does this even happen? Incredible. I revel in its crappiness.

Nice IPA. Great hop profile producing a citrus aroma and flavors. Cloudy with medium carbonation. Average for an IPA

Golden and reddish colour with slight lacing. Minimal scent, a little hoppy, but pretty weak for an IPA. Sweet tasting with a slight bitter finish.

Light amber in appearance with a bit of lacing. A bit spicy and hoppy in the nose, but not befitting a true IPA. Not very well distinguished from their APA, and in fact has less hopping.
