crushinat0r (225), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 5, 2007 The Chop House has some decent variety, but I found them all pretty boring. That being said, the Saison was easily the best offering. Light and hazy, no head. Scent of corn and wheat. Tastes a little sour and complexe, corn and wheat. Refreshing. crizay (1069), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA May 10, 2007 Clear pale yellow small white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is honey malts all the way with a touch of caramel, and citrus, orange and coriander. Floral hops, weak belgian funk bite to it but it was still there. This was an awesome beer to sit on their patio with it being 88 degrees outside, very easy to drink, very refreshing, and it may not have been made by a monk but it was still well made and was awesome with the food. shintriad (655), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 26, 2007 By far the brewery’s best option that I’ve tried; very sour, citrussy with fresh herbal and coriander notes. Slightly thin profile (it’s pretty translucent) and weak, but not bad considering.
