Great light amber / chestnut coloured bitter. Gentle sweet floral aroma, with hints of citrus. Initial sweet malty flavour then waves of hop character a dry biscuit aftertaste and magnificent bitter finish. Brilliant clarity. Great session bitter

Cask (Hopbine, Cambridge)
Very dull aroma, just a bit of grains, and gets some mushrooms or undergrowth later. Very fruity retronasals. Finish quite minty. Some sweet savoury aspects - lamb, mint sauce and gravy. Good bitter bite.

on tap, light malthoppy aroma, , copper colour, minimal white head, clear, , medium bitterness, ligh sweetness, not bad taste, light to medium body. bitter finish. average ale

Cask Conditioned Handpump Coach & Horses Wellingborough. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head. A fruity earthy English bitter with a malty nose. Does what it does well and is very drinkable.

Cask conditioned at The Mariners Compass, Gorleston on Sea, Norfolk. Amber with white head. Well balanced fruity type bitter, malty with a leafy hop, also a slight graininess. Easy session type beer.

Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. A rather basic bitter; amber with a thin, fast-fading, white head; malty aroma with a hint of farm yard; sweet fruity flavour, almost cidery; with a dry and tart finish.

Tap: Didn’t get much of aroma off of this one, if anything it was a little soapy. A little better in the mouth but still quite bland. Not much to get my teeth into here. A bit disappointing.

Cask at EABF 09,Light brown with no head aroma of flowers and honey sweetness,taste is citric and floral again with a light bitter finish.
