COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - December & January.
A dark coloured ale brewed with cinnamon nutmeg and cloves. A heady spicy and fruit aroma a dark creamy head. This beer has a glorious flavour of Christmas spices rich fruit and roasted malt flavours. Very complex but satisfying and moreish. Breaks the ice and keeps out the cold!

Cask (gravity dispense) at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, 4 February 2010. Dark copper. Strange aroma of furniture polish and spices - mainly cinnamon. Some others around seemed to like it. All a question of taste I suppose. I’m not a big spice fan and didn’t find this to my taste at all. Not sure I’d describe this as a mild.

Cask at The Wenlock Arms. Dark mahogny with a small head. Overpowering cinnamon aroma and flavours, lots of Christmas pudding. Lightish body. Absolutely drinkable, but I would have preferred a lighter hand on the spice box.
