Light bodied pale Helles with a musty aroma. Thirst quencher but not much in the way of flavor. Maybe we can play beer drinking games with Hoffman Helles.

Appearance: movie theater butter, with a short, vanishing head. Aroma: light malty grains, some herbal and grassy hops. Taste: medium grains against herbal and piney hops, hint of grassy funk. Finish: light and crisp, with a lingering slight bitterness from the hops. Notes: While the bitter notes keep the mouth fresh, the overall palate is smooth. I prefer this with salty food.

Hazy, almost cloudy, pale gold with white head. Aroma/Flavor of mild bitter graininess and hoppiness. Refreshing but not as malty as a good helles can and should be.

This poured a darker golden color with a white head. Aroma was very noticable buttery diacetlye, and some grassy hops too. Flavor was much the same, lots of buttery toasted malts. Blah.
