UPDATED: APR 24, 2012 Draft at the Drafting Room, Exton. Pours deep brown with little head. Aromas of malt, almonds, some hops and toffee. The palate is on the light side, with finishing malt, nuts, and slight hops and toffee.
NOTE: Bottle sampled 24-Apr-2012 was infected with lactobacillus.

Growler courtesy of Proteus93. Thanks! Pours a chocolate brown color with a moderate sized offwhite frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Odd aroma of nuts, chocolate, varnish. Taste is nutty, chocolate, leafy hops and a bit of saltiness. Medium bodied. This is an odd beast.

Cask at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, chocolate, Earth, leaves, light nuts, and some raisins. Poured deep amber/brown in color with a small creamy, tan head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of malt, nuts, chocolate, water, Earth, and a hint of hops. Medium body. Thin, watery, then dry texture. Cask carbonation. Malt, nut, chocolate finish is dry.
