Papsoe (9656), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 9, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Clear, warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Full-bodied, some roasted maltiness and fruit - also both notes of dried and overripe fruit. The finish is quite alcoholic without much hoppiness. 311007 Oakes (6776), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bright reddish-brown. Plummy aroma with sour cherries, chocolate. Fruity and sweet, some bubblegum, light spice. Some orange. Some nice nuances but too sweet. argo0 (6004), Washington DC, USA Mar 19, 2007 (12oz bottle, best by August 2007) Small beige head atop clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some alcohol/rum, apple, light candi sugar, mold. Taste is moderately sweet, rum raisin, some alcohol, spice, light prune, apple, candi sugar. Medium body that seems thin for the size of the beer and its flavors. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/21/2007
