Commercial Description:
The beer is a dry Imperial Stout - creamy and rich with color as black as night. It has aromas of roasted coffee and dark chocolate, hints of molasses, toffee and caramel in the taste. Clipper City will produce only a small batch, so availability is extremely limited. IBU'S: 30 Malts: Crisp English Pale, Crisp Crystal, Chocolate and Roasted Barley Hops: Styrian Goldings, Fuggles Magnum and Amarillo

Black color with coffee, chocolate, and malt aroma with limited head. Smooth taste with a hint of malt and alcohol but very well balanced.

Nice stout with good strength. Flavors of roasted coffee and chocolate were noticeable. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest.

Pours dark black with a small brown head. Aroma is heavly malty of cookies and roasted/burnt malts and mild coffee, lightly hoppt and moderately yeast, with some alcohol. Flavor is nicely roasty, almost burnt, very well balanced with firm bitternes Ends rosty with long finish.

12 oz bottle. Aroma of chocolate with roast malts. Very dark amber brown. Dark roast malts dominate flavor with a bit of sour astringency. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Finishes moderately dry with a moderate bitterness and a bit of husky woody astringency. Quite Tasty!

Smells like prunes. Dry, thin and way to chalky. Some sweet chocalatey roasty flavors but not enough positives to overpower the negatives in this guy.
