A mix of bread and spices in aroma. The flavor is spices, bread and a hoppiness that leads into the finish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bmerz (229) - New York, USA - APR 20, 2012
Bottle. A fairly simplistic and overly sweet beer. Does not have much belgian saison character though belgian yeast, esters and body characters are present. It’s hazy orange and smells sugary sweet and malty with ripe orange and banana aromas. Flavor is little vegetal and peppery at the end. Medium sticky body with not much carbonation. The alcohol is hid well.

Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a murky burnt orange color. There was little head or lacing. Bottle was 7 months past date. Aroma was of bananas, cloves, and some other fruitiness. Love all Belgian styles, however this being a saison the ABV was a little high for my liking. Good brew though!

Pours a cloudy orange yellow with a thin white cap....very bubbly.
Scent is tangerine, candied sugars,
Taste is tangerine, banana, pear.....delicately fruity...a fruit punch blend...slightly sticky, a little alcohol warmth. very sweet...wheaty..
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KajII (463) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - FEB 19, 2012
Bottle. The pour was a crystal clear medium orange with a slight yellow hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) fluffy white head that had decent longevity, receding down to a large foamy puddle of residue producing some good sticky lacing.
The aroma had a strong wheat presence along with a light straw malt, a herbal hop and a soapy yeast with notes of banana, pear, caramel and a bit of a peppery spice.
The taste was mildly sweet and yeasty with notes of caramel and other fruit esters early on and then become mildly sweet and acidic with a healthy dose of fruit and spices and a decent alcohol presence at the end. The flavor lingered for a little while having kind of boozy appeal.
Mouthfeel was a few shades beyond light in body with a nice dry texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall a great representation of the style. Spicy, fruity and strong, just wonderful...

Nice saison with a big aroma and good warmth of alcohol. Smoth tastes of candi and hops. Nice beer.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 BillKismet (2760) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 17, 2011
Clear bronze body, with soft, off-white head. The bouquet bursts with a panoply of appealing flares. Esters and phenols abound. Spicy dark fruit. Soft clove, mysterious and enticing herbs of the earth. Zestful and refreshing. The body is zingy with esters, but veers a bit too medicinal for my tastes. Sweet, bready, and herbal finish.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 NachlamSie (2146) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 8, 2011
Bottle from Bruisin’. pours a bubbly, cloudy orange/yellow with no head. The aroma is sticky with citrus, cough drops, bubblegum, clove. It’s sticky sweet in the mouth. Lots of esters are forcing their way onto my palate. Tastes lemony with sticky spices in the finish. It’s sweet like candy with a dash of spiced nuances. It’s too sweet and the yeast is too aggressive.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - DEC 2, 2011
12oz bottle, best by Dec 2011. Clear burnt gold color with a small and fleeting head. Lots of spice in the nose and a little melon. Sweet and lightly bitter with a lasting spice/cotton candy finish. Medium carbonation and a medium-light body. Alcohol gives it a little heft though. A little bigger and sweeter than I like the style, and could definitely be hoppier. More like a spicy, sweet blond or tripel
