Oct 18, 2006 Poured a clear brown with almost no white head. Smelled like candy and flowers, very interesting and inviting. Initial flavor is extremely malty and just a little bitter. Big mouth feel with a bitter, fizzy finish.

Oct 15, 2006 Pours a gold to amber color with not much head. The aroma is overpowering, with a very fruity scent. Sweet, with a lot of hops evident in the taste.

Oct 15, 2006 Bottle sample at Cliffton Beer Fest. Poured dark copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate grassy citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium bitter flavor with a smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Oct 12, 2006 2006 version. Clear, somewhere between red and brown. Hoppy aroma, balanced and smooth flavor. Roughly what I’d expect an "Imperial ESB" to taste like.

Sep 10, 2006 12 oz bottle. Deep reddish orange in color with a small head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Peach and apricot notes. Fruity and malty flavor. Caramel and chocolate notes. Rich tasting. Sweet. Finish is malty. Smooth. Nice beer. Peppery notes. Very drinkable. Enjoyable.

Sep 10, 2006 12 oz bottles. Browish orange with a small head. Nice and hoppy with some english tasting malts. Flavors of peach, ash and pineapple all followed with a rich but not sweet caramel smoothness. Lively and peppery.

Jul 13, 2006 Bottle. Drank it a while ago, but realized that it was the ESB and not the IPA version of this. Dark amber color, white head. Malty, bitter, and well rounded.
