Commercial Description:
Our "winter warmer" ale, brewed with copious helpings of English malts and US and English hops, a ruddy hued "Imperial ESB" in style. Full malty flavors dancing with powerful hop aromas and a lingering, firm hop bitterness. Seasonally available from mid October to February.

Bottle (12oz). Shared with jerc, mds and tupalev - my bottle via trade with DocLock. Hazy amber, decent creamy off-white head. Dusty sweet malt and floral hops, dry, light. A bit of alcohol and sharp hop bitterness in the flavour, citrus pith, less malt character - average body, slightly astingent, alcoholic and sharply carbonated - pretty decent; Imperial ESB? Well, it’s bitter, I guess.

This Imperial ESB pours a orange gold color from a 12 oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet, grapefruity and piney. Medium bodied Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity. Lots of spiciness. A little estery and very smooth. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. Thanks to the Atlanta crew for sharing this one.

Dark amber brown, small off white head. Moderate hops in the aroma are a bit leafy. Moderate bitterness in the flavour, earthy malt, vague hints of celery. Alcohol is not at all prominent. Average to medium palate (3+). Servicable.

Bottle from circle liquors. Pours a dark brown amber body. Sweet caramel maltiness, grainy with a hint of nuttiness. Earthy bitterness pine and spices. Decent brew.

This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting yellow white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent light brown colored softly carbonated body and a fair lacing. The aroma contained malt hop mild brown malt notes. The crisp mouth feel was strongly tingly from the hops. The flavor contained strong hops under a malt backing.

Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, some vanilla, and light citrus hops. Malty, light nuts, citrus fruits, and a bitter, hoppy, undertone. Not quite as good as last years.

Nice! This was one of my favorites at this Newtown Brewfest this year. This is a really nice hopped up DIPA. Pours a clear deep amber with a thin lasting off white head. Aroma is sticky sweet with tons of citrus and mango hops and slightly floral. Full flavor with lots of sweet caramel malts, sticky hop resins, citrus, slight tropical fruits, and some pine. Good body and a nice bitter finish. I think I had at least 2-3 samples of this at the fest.
