Commercial Description:
Modeled after the style of beer produced in Baltimore just after Prohibition. The beer is pale in color, is made with 100% malt, and has a very mild Hersbrucker hop character. A great example of the kind of beer our grandfathers consumed.

Poured a golden color from draft while staying at the Harbor, small white colored head (it was dark, though?). Aroma of grains, cereal, some dry grass elements? Ditto all that on the flavor, slightly sweet but finishes more dry than expected. A snorefest of a beer, but an easy drinker, although I only had one.

Received a 12-oz bottle via trade with kmweaver. Pours a clear golden pale with a white head that dissolves fast and leaves behind a fine white film coating. Very good lacing on glass side. Aroma is sweet, light malt with a touch of sweet corn. Good balance of malt and hops. Taste has a medium body with a smooth carbonation. Thought this is listed as a "Premium Lager" category, this is more of an American Lager. A good summer session beer overall.

Really nice local session beer. Pours a good amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is malty with little to no hop nose. Flavor is malty yet crisp and clean. Order a pitcher next time your in Baltimore and share with some friends. You could do worse.

12oz – Clear gold, white creamy head. Soft sweet toasted caramel aromas warms to light swirls of corn. Balanced grainy cereal flavor rounds with a touch of backend sweet biscuit. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Non offensive, but this is true beginner beer…

Overall Impression: Not a very good beer, one of those cheapish local beers every locale has, this is one of Baltimore’s, but hey, it’s better then Natty Bo!

12oz bottle. Pours clear golden in color with thin white, which does not last long. Aroma sweet and malty. Taste sweet grain malt with dry finish.

Pours a transparent deep golden color with a thin, fizzy white head. Aroma of musty grainy malts and plenty of lager yeast character and subtle noble hops. Body starts with a pleasant mild sweetness and some husky malt notes with good hop bittering balance before a dry, crisp, drinkable finish. Very true to style and although it has little complexity, it would make for a good session beer.
