Pour a deep amber color with very little off-white head. The aroma is mainly pine and resiny hops with some roasted malt notes. The taste begins with a malty sweetness, but it finishes lightly bitter. It has a medium body and a somewhat sticky texture.

Pours a four finger cream head that fades quickly to a ring leaving traces of lace. Clear dark amber/brown color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. No nose. Flavor is a muted sweet malt, no many hops, very un-amber. Boring. Buy by Sep 2008. $2.05 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
