argo0 (6019), Washington DC, USA Jan 15, 2006 (draft) Clear straw body with white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, bubblegum, banana, light clove. Taste is moderately sweet, bubblegum, some clove, light banana. Light-medium body, some stickiness. Too sweet -- lacks the refreshing qualities I want in the style. Cornfield (4254), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Oct 11, 2007 Fairly clear for a hefeweizen, gold bodied with a short white head that fades rapidly. It’s got an aroma of green bananas, wheat flakes, a touch of clove, and a drop of lemon juice. It tastes mainly of wheat flakes and watery lemon juice with a bit of banana thrown in as an afterthought, any spiciness dropping from the picture. Drinkable, but I prefer something more easily recognized as a hefe.

DocLock (4047), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is malty, citric, with banana and hop aromas and flavors, and a decent smoothness. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA May 22, 2006 on tap-pours a white head with cloudy pale yellow color. Aroma is wheat and lots of clove. Taste is wheat, too much clove, banana, creamy, musty. Good carbonation.
BBB63 (3681), La Porte, Indiana, USA Oct 8, 2007 Bottle and served in my small Ayinger glass: Pours a cloudy golden hue with a fading frothy white head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of banana, clove, lemongrass, biscuity malts and a hint of soap. The taste is rather mundane with wheat and yeasty fruit flavors with some spice upon the finish but it lacks the classic refreshment of the best of the genre. The mouth feel is watery and not sharp. While hardly bad there are much better example on the market.
