COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In Belgium, one of the world’s greatest brewing regions, the tradition of blending fruit with beer has achieved cult status. We decided to create an American interpretation that we present as Oxford Raspberry. The beer is light and refreshing and finished with real raspberries giving it a fruity aroma, and quenching tartness.

Excellent color, very smooth/clean taste, plesant aroma. You couldn't ask for anything more from a raspberry wheat!

Very nice color, but that's the only thing that I liked about this one. Extremely fruity - both smell and taste. I guess I could see this as being refreshing on a hot summer day but I doubt that I'd ever drink it again.

This wasn’t that impressive. Kind of wierd smelling with a very medicinal and odd taste.

nice initial raspberry flavor, with some english hops in the aroma. The finish is crisp clean and refreshing. Not something I would want to drink a lot of however. Just not all that special.

Very light beer, with raspberry flavoring. I guess they’re trying to attract mainstream drinkers in search of something a little bit different.

Some years ago when living in Baltimore, this beer first turned me on to fruit beers, but now having had many others (including the best European fruit beers), I regard this one as a lesser cousin of the style. Raspberry, like cherry, is a very natural combination for beer, but in the hands of this Maryland brewery, it leans too heavily on the side of an artificially-flavored beer. The flavor is not balanced with native beer qualities.

Red to gold in colour. Sweet and bland with sweetish raspberry flavour. More like an alco-pop than a credible fruit beer.
