COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In Belgium, one of the world’s greatest brewing regions, the tradition of blending fruit with beer has achieved cult status. We decided to create an American interpretation that we present as Oxford Raspberry. The beer is light and refreshing and finished with real raspberries giving it a fruity aroma, and quenching tartness.

Red to gold in colour. Sweet and bland with sweetish raspberry flavour. More like an alco-pop than a credible fruit beer.

Very light beer, with raspberry flavoring. I guess they’re trying to attract mainstream drinkers in search of something a little bit different.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber hue with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Good wheat and rasberry aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium well balanced fruity flavor with a good sweet finish of moderate duration. Good soft drinkable beer.

Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 30, 2007
A hazey golden ale with rosey hues and a thin white head. Very faint raspeberry aromas, nothing much else. In mouth, a tart refreshing wheat beer, with restrained fruits, not bad, but not Belgian at all. Bought at Party Source, Feb. 2007.

Sparkling clear, light amber/dark golden lager. Small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is not really heavy on fruit. Very subtle raspberry. Fruity and tart flavor with a whisper of malt. Balanced nicely by lightly bitter hops. Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, tart finish. A touch grassy at the very end. Very nice brew for the style.

Poured a lighter golden color with a huge, frothy (5 finger) head. Some floaties. Strong Raspberry aroma. Raspberry in the taste (not as strong as the smell) and some malts. Fizzy and light body.

Pinkish reddish colour. Not the star of their lineup, and I am not normally a fan of fruit beers, though I gave had some good ones. Sweet aroma, cotton candy. Thinnish, not a real raspbery taste and it did something with the wheat. Maybe I’d like the wheat without its injection.

Pours dark straw with aroma of malt, slight berries. Tastes tart, with malt, raspberry, and some hops at the finish.
