3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, - FEB 1, 2011
The IPA is back after 4 years! A reddish maber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, pleasant fragrant c-hops, with citrusy notes, quite nice. In mouth, a classy IPA with biscuitty malts, cascade hops, very smooth and subdued, some sweetness in finale, a bit lighter bodied but good. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 1 2011.

[4392-20120421] Cask. Toasted pineapple charcoal aroma. Slightly hazy, brown amber body with no lasting head. Toasted mango fruit juice continues in the flavour with some leafy green hops. Medium body. Fair. (5/2/5/3/10) 2.5

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2012
2012-04-21. Very hazy dark orange body, small frothy off-white head. 3+ Modest aroma, light orange, tangerine, leafy hop character grows. 6+ Flavour is similar, mild citrus melange under a leafy green hop layer. 6+ Smooth average plus palate. Probably the best beer I have had from Clocktower, enjoyable. Cask at Volo IPA Challenge
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeMcPhee (6965) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 24, 2012
Cask at 2012 Volo IPA Challenge. Deep golden amber pour. The nose is a bit fruity and chewy. Stone fruit and a bit of fruit. Black current and a touch of lingering bittering. Fruity.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cfrancis (1359) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a dark amber brown with a small off white top. Aroma is faint pine hops and toffee. Taste is more bitterness than a malt profile and hop flavouring. I think they got the bittering hops right but forgot about the flavouring.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (6120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2007
NOTE: THis is a very different beer than their regular bitter. The clear winner in their lineup, worked out great on cask. Only lightly cold, they are learning from Montreal. Grapefruit colour with big foamy head, decent bitter taste with even some C-hop taste, creamy with lots of lace. Medium mouthfeel. Malty more than hoppy aroma.
