Aroma of wheat and light sugary raspberries. Flavour of wheat, grain and light raspberry. Mild bitter finish. Average bodied. It’s O.K., it would make an easy to drink Summer beer.

Dégustée en fût sur place (Bank St). De couleur dorée et légèrement voilée. Nez fruité (framboises naturelles), léger de levures fruitées (agrumes), de blé et de grains de céréales avec des notes de houblon herbeux. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux notes aqueuses. Moyen goût fruité (framboises peu sucrées) avec un léger goût de levures fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût de blé et de grains de céréales puis en finale l’on retrouve des notes de houblon herbeux. Post-goût moyen-court, composé d’un petit goût fruité (framboises, notes de zeste d’agrumes) ainsi que de traces de blé. (5 avril 2013)

On tap at the Bank St. brewpub. Surprising bubble gum esters and raspberry sweetness. Mild overall but ester heavy with what’s there.

On tap aht the Market Brewpub. Pale blond body with a thin white foamy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with light fruity and flowery hints. Its malty/hoppy taste is rather bland. The raspberry notes a barely detectable. Ends with a short bitter/grainy finish. Not a fruit beer.

En fût au Clocktower. Couleur jaune très pâle, servie avec tranche de citron. Arôme de fruits léger. En bouche, un peu de céréale et de framboise...Léger, douce, bonne.

Originally rated January 2006. Ouch ! This one was served with a lemon slice. Poured a light golden colour with a very slight touch of red. The aroma was kind of sour with some wheat mostly and the raspberry in the back. Even the taste, started on a sour note, then the grain kicked in to finish lightly with the wheat and raspberry. I remember this one being better many, many years ago, but still refreshing... specially in summer.

Aroma is wheat with just a hint of fruit. It looks like a lager, light yellow-green body and little head. Flavour is a good wheat and raspberry mix, with a soft finish. It’s well balanced and refreshing, a good entry point for fruit-style-beer newbies.

Pint at the brewpub. Cloudy yellw color. Very light taste. Subtle notes of rasperry, not too much but its ok like that. Average white.

Didn’t get anything from this. None of the typical citrus or banana presence I would expect to get from a wheat beer, and even more bizarre no raspberries. I realy didn’t taste any at all. Had a very acidic taste at the end, but not the citrusy good kind.
Just not a good beer.
