sinkhole (117), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada May 14, 2007 Draught with minimal carbonation and a thin white head. Faint raspberry aroma carries through to the initial taste. There is a strong wheat flavour present which leads to a weak bitter aftertaste. Not much raspberry to this but okay as a wheat beer itself.
Taktik_MTL (1843), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada May 15, 2008 En fût. (Rating #1674) MrManning (1415), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 21, 2008 Draught at the pub- Pale yellow liquid pours a foamy white cap. Faint aroma of grain, tin, and very subtle fruit. I do not get any raspberry here. Tastes of pale malts and somewhat sweet grains, with just a bit of fruit syrup. This is quite flavourless. Assertive carbonation in the finish. The only thing that I could actually taste was the lemon that was served with this beer. The worst of the Clocktower brews. Sammy (2969), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 23, 2007 At the brewpub. Their weakest offering, some faint raspberry essence taste. Opaque to yellow with lots of foam. Significant carbonation. french tickler (457), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Jul 11, 2007 Golden hazy poor with a thin white head and good lacing. Aromas of respberry bushes, banana peelings, fresh malts and yeast again on a nice herbal finish. Good effervescence, light bodied yet slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nice balanced mouthfeel and long lasting light bitterness. Added flavors of raspberries with a crisprefreshing finish again. Served with a lemon, quickly discarded.
