Appearance: Golden amber ale with hint of red tint , medium light creamy top. 2+. Nose : Creamy feel with light bitter side. To light and flat for classic bitter.5- Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , malted base with just some of hop notion. Soft thin finish with more bitter flatness. Average.
Taktik_MTL (1769), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada May 15, 2008 En fût. (Rating #1676) Cartoon_khaki (1105), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Mar 29, 2008 This was my more favorite out of my sampling trip here. Copper colour with nice off white head. Caramel aroma with a bit a bread too it. The flavour has a light fruity malt to it and a slight bitterness. The body leans to the watery site only slightly and the carbonation was much lower then the others I sampled. MrManning (1403), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 20, 2008 Pours a mahogany/copper liquid with a frothy beige cap leaving good lace. Malty aroma with candy and caramel sugar with a touch of yeast and fruit. Tastes sweet and bitter. Fruity malts with nice fresh bittering hops with thrills gum and floral hints. Finishes with a floral/herbal almost mint like twang, and I liked this one quite a bit. Sammy (2944), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 23, 2007 The regular bitter on tap was an average beer, with less bitterness and above average carbonation.
