motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Oct 20, 2007 on tap at the brewpub. golden with a steady head, grapefruit aroma, not much happening, modest but not entirely pleasant bitterness, hard to get excited about Rastacouere (5202), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 1, 2007 Clear shiny yellow. Lacy white head. Spicy, floral, citrusy hop nose with minimal sweetish crystal malts. Herbal and tea-like, orangey palate procures a moderate amount of bitterness. Pretty light-bodied, moderately carbonated. A simple ale, but it has to be my favourite Clockwork. Ungstrup (10863), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2007 Draft at brewpub. A slightly hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with a light flowery hoppy note, and the flavor is also sweet with a light flowery hoppy note, but also with a light note of caramel, leading to a slightly bitter finish. The body is thin. M0RHI (989), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Aug 26, 2007 Tap, Clockwork, Glasgow, RBESG 07. Gold, laced white head. Not much nose, hoppy, some maltiness and a bit of disconcerting sweetness. Usual dry bitter hoppiness, some slightly sweet malt. Bitter and dry at the end. harrisoni (4930), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 24, 2007 Draught at Clockwork, Glasgow. Gold, lasting white head. It’s a fairly standard bitter, some bleach which pulls the score down. Not fantastic.
