Cask at the brewery. It pours clear golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is piney, varnish, light sweetness and tropical fruit. The taste is bitter, piney, resin, hay, straw, citrus peel, soap and varnish with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice bitterness. Pretty alright.

Cask, half pint at the Clockwork brewpub. Clear copper coloured body with a brownish shade. Thin,off-white layer. Malt-hoppy nose, on the fruity side. Hops up front to the taste buds joined by dried fruits. Bitter tail. Oliy palate. Medium bodied. Maybe the best of the five Clockwork brews (Glasgow, 12.04.2012).
