Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
"This unique fusion of two styles of beer is born from the original German Altbier crossed with American red ale. Brewed from pale malt, Vienna malt, Bavarian melanoidin malt and roasted wheat, this is then flavoured with American hops using the Liberty variety for aroma. 'Fruit and malt aroma, soft malt texture with a caramel flavour. Big hop finish'."

Dec, 2004: Clockwork, Glasgow. My first draft Alt. Rusty coloured. Tastes sublime. Fresh, fruity, with a pineapple finish and rusty notes.

[cask from clockwork] Pours a deep red colour. Aroma is fruity, some grassy hop aromas and some sweet malts, caramel.body isnt great though that may be because it has been sitting in the pipes for a while, a little sweetness in the finish.
