NOt really good, I expected more from this one, but it has only a few features of a good Stout. It is not bad but that’s it.

Cask Stillage at Lloyds Bar, Nuneaton 02/09/2005 Dark coloured smooth on the palate with some alcohol present. Crisp slightly dry roast finish.

Draught at the Clockwork. Dark brown, persistent head. Roast barley aroma. Slightly thinnish mouthfeel for the style. Good roasty finish. Somewhere on the border between porter and stout. Good stuff in a great pub.
