COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle shared by Ryan or James. Pours golden brown with no head or lace. Apple skins, caramel, and wood were the flavors on this girl. Straight apple juice for the dads out there.

Bottle... This ice cider rocks!… Clear deep amber with hundreds of short, thin legs. The bouquet is an excellent, complex fusion of freshly sliced McIntosh, Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples. There is an ethanol component is a tad overbearing, but not all that offensive. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and no carbonation. The flavor is hearty and sweet, then quickly morphs to a sharply tart, raspy, dry finish. Muchos kudos to Marheb for providing this gem!

Bottle shared with max, clockwork, Andy, pearl, Zdk and Paul. Pours a deep caramel body with no head or lacing. Aroma is super rich, musky fruit. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of dusty oak barrels, apple pie, musky fruits and light acidity. Awesome.

Drank to celebrate Jess’s PhD defense! 200 ml bottle. Pours still, orange, and clear. Aroma of sweet apples and some booziness. Taste brings much more complexity. Caramel apple sweetness with a nice balance of acidity. Upon some sips, I got a hit of cheese in there. Full mouthfeel with a much more acidic and dry finish. The aroma didn’t necessarily bode well for this one, but I’m glad the flavor really came out. Really delicious stuff and would certainly try again some time.

Bottle (200 ml). Golden amber. Strong apple aroma, more than in most of the Ice cider I’ve tasted so far. A lot of sweetness here along with slight fruity notes. Taste is heavily sweet with apple, fruits and slight spices. Warming alcohol/sugar. Medium body. Another very good Ice cider!

Medium amber with lighter gold edges, 2009 bottle. Sweet apple, honey, light caramel with some acidity in the front and finish. More pear like, more tropical fruits than LA Face, with a lighter feel and some pleasant spices. Finish has a lighter oxidized note. Just realized this is Avalanche and not the normal Los saragnant cider, which explains the pear flavors.

2012-11-16. Dark amber body, headless, syrupy silky legs on the glass. 3+ Smells great, sweet concentrated baked apples, tart apples follow. 8+ Rich flavour, sweet fruity apple base, muted sugary accents, modest acidity balances it very well. 8+ Smooth syrupy full body is still. 4+ Lovely stuff. Bottle, 2008 Vintage from Marche au Saveurs, Montreal
