3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cybercat (2519) - Georgia, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Comes out of the bottle a clear dark sepia with a fairly thick and persistent light tan head. Malty aroma has a strong overtone of caramel and apple, and is fairly sweet. Robust flavor has strong fruity and caramel notes plus a surprising hoppy tone and a subtle undertone of malt. Caramel sweetness nicely balances the hoppy bitterness. Firm, smooth, slightly syrupy texture leaves a sweet, fruity, hoppy finish and a persistent tingle. Geoff Dale, you’ve got my vote in 2016! ;)

22oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours brown/ruby with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of caramel malts, some dough and toffee and oats, plus a good amount of floral and citrusy hops. Flavor about the same with hints of alcohol. Average to smooth texture. A pretty interesting beer.
