Bomber, 2014 vintage. Rich chocolate malt aroma with notes of roasted malt and subtle hops. Pours black with one finger of light brown head with excellent retention and lacing. Starts with rich dark chocolate flavor with a silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with roasted malt mixing with the chocolate. Excellent stout!

A beautiful pour from a bottle. Rich, dark color with a tight tobacco colored head. A smokey chocolate caramel flavor with a trace of black coffee on the tail. The body is a little light for a stout, but, that's a personal preference. I fine representation .... but then again, I'm a fan of Clown Shoes ..... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good beer tha is rich and smokey. Pour is black with a small light brown head. Aroma is rich chocolate, hops and dark fruits. A big beer in Abu and taste it challenges your palate well and would pair well with cigars.

Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is big espresso and cocoa powder, dark dried fruit (raisin and plum), earthy, toffee, roasted malt, char, and a bit of alcohol. Taste is dark chocolate, coffee, roast/char, toffee, a bit of dried fruit, and medium bitterness. Rich, complex, full body, finishes a bit dry. Alcohol is quite well hidden. A very good RIS.

Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of dark malts and coffee with slight liquorice and alcohol coming trough. Full body with creamy feel. Very drinkable at 12.5%.

Pours thick, black, and syrupy with a dark brown, foamy head. The nose is burnt toast and yeast. Notes of dark chocolate and dark cherries. The taste is bitter with a huge burnt molasses, syrupy sweet profile underneath. Full bodied beast of a beer, with soft carbonation and a dark-roasted grain aftertaste.

neongolden (598) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 17, 2014
(Bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 12 2014) Pours pitch black with pale tan head and little lace. Aroma of dark malts, treacle, moderate roast, light soy, slight smoke, touch of coffee. Up front there are a lot of dark malts, treacle, little roast, soy sauce. A bit more roast in the middle but still light, and some dark fruit? Finish is lightly bitter, lingering dark malts, touches of black coffee. Medium oily body with little carb. Alcohol pretty well hidden. Not a bad imperial stout by any means, almost too well integrated as nothing really jumped out at me, except that it might have been a touch towards the soy side of things. Well crafted but came across as good, not exceptional.
