What should we call our Russian Imperial Stout? Black Unicorn? Soul Dragon? Nohhh. Let’s combine them and create the ultimate mythical creature: Blaecorn Unidragon.

Imbued with a monstrous amount of dark malt and aggressive hops, Blaecorn Unidragon is a powerful and complex brew designed to improve with age.

As with all clown shoes brews, it's good but not mind blowing. I've had better and worse stouts. Worth trying but that's it., ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at BrewDog Bristol on 23 Nov. Poured black, with a dense tan head. Massive aroma of roasted malt, coffee, whisky and molasses. Full mouth feel. Flavours of burnt malt, liquorice, vanilla and dark chocolate. Finish was ash, espresso, treacle and spice. Wonderful.

Bottle from systembolaget in Sweden. Nice long lastning yellow -brown head. Black color. Rich roasted malty with dark chrystal malt that lacks coffey that i think improves this stout. Full rich malt taste with chocolats and balanced caramell taste. Medium bitterness and full body. The only bad thing with this beer is the prise.

Bomber purchased at Holiday Wine Cellar 21 months ago ($10.99). Pours black with some brown around the edges and an impressive 2.5 fingers of creamy light brown foam. AROMA of mildly roasted malts, roasted nuts, mild coffee, heavy toffee, and sweet fruit. FLAVOR of heavily dark roasted and ashy malts, sticky stewed dark fruits, bitter baker’s chocolate, and heavy dark coffee. I wonder if this is possibly lightly infected as the big fruitiness throws me off a little bit. The very high ABV is mostly concealed in the nose and mouth, but there is a noticeable burn as it goes down the ol’ gullet. Not a very nuanced impy stout and I do wonder if it’s lightly infected, but it goes down easily enough which is a surprise considering the huge ABV. (502, 927)

Pours a dark blacks with thick brown head. Has a strong coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate aroma. Starts with a sweet chocolate taste that turns to dark liquor, coffee, liquorish, and light dark fruits. A heavy body with lingering dark fruit malts and coffee taste.

Bottle; pours dark brown with a thin beige head; aroma is chocolate, licorice, coffee, and roasted malt; taste is bittersweet chocolate and coffee with some malt, licorice, and a hint of alcohol; finish is semi-dry; not bitter and pretty smooth; I have only had a couple of Clown Shoes beers but I really like the ones that I have had.

22 oz bottle.
Dark brown with ruby hues, tan head, thick lace.
Molasses, liquorice, and sweet alcohol dominate the aroma with a little coffee hanging out back.
Flavor is sweet up front, molasses and alcohol, solid hop and dark roasted grain bitterness on the finish. Warming alcohol finish.
