What should we call our Russian Imperial Stout? Black Unicorn? Soul Dragon? Nohhh. Let’s combine them and create the ultimate mythical creature: Blaecorn Unidragon.

Imbued with a monstrous amount of dark malt and aggressive hops, Blaecorn Unidragon is a powerful and complex brew designed to improve with age.

I like the label. Props there Bomber into a tulip Black. Need I say more? Nope. Nice looking one finger dark mocha colored head. Good body to it. Spotty lacing and lots of ABV legs. Dark fruits, chocolate, char, fudge and burnt nuts. Lots of roasted malts. Very nice nose. Drier in the smell than I expected it to be. Coco, dark, bitter chocolate, dark fruits, some char and burnt tires. Slightly sweet and bitter. Quite smooth in the mouth. Then comes the hammer of char and burnt tires. Quite nice. Lots of dark coco and chocolate. Fruit sweetness gives it an nice feel as well. . ABV very present. Dry with a dark fruit fruit finish. Very nice. Big, bold beer. Like how balanced it is between dry and fruity. Good stuff

Served on tap at Brewdog Birmingham. A thick black liquid with low carbonation and a short lived white head. Aroma is strong dark fruits with a slight harshness. Alcohol is very present in the taste along with huge complexity of flavours. Aftertaste is a tad harsh with a slight alcohol burn and maybe a hint of burnt plastic but overall an excellent example of the style.

Väldigt kraftig arom, lite kaffe och mycket chocklad i aromen ! Smaken väldigt fyllig. Mycket mycket humle i smaken.

On tap at BrewDog Dundee. A great imperial stout. Pours black with a thin head. Had this one after a Cocoa Psycho, so seemed quite sweet to me, but I could definitely taste some coffee in there, but mostly seemed dark chocolate n treacle...

Bottle with the boys at porch nite. Pours a rick very dark brown to black with a thin mocha head. Aroma is roast chocolate and slight dark fruit. Flavor follows with lots of roast. Very bitter - too much so. Very good but not fantastic. Lacked balance. Maybe needs more time aging. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled @ 11.5 percent from Vons. Black in color. Nose is a little roasty, but seems to be quite hoppy for the style. Some roast up front, but the hops come through to dominate. If you want a hoppy impy this is one of the hoppier ones I’ve tried.

Pours black. Aroma and taste are roasted malts, chocolate, and does well hiding the alcohol.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a big brown head. Smells and tastes salty, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, grassy hoppy with a similar finish.

Black pour with a dark tan head and lace. Aroma is chocolate and burnt coffee. Flavor is sweet chocolate and burnt coffee with a bit of harsh malty bitter. A dark malt bitter that gets better as it goes along. Medium/full bodied with good carbonation. A bitter that may last forever.
