COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What should we call our Russian Imperial Stout? Black Unicorn? Soul Dragon? Nohhh. Let’s combine them and create the ultimate mythical creature: Blaecorn Unidragon.

Imbued with a monstrous amount of dark malt and aggressive hops, Blaecorn Unidragon is a powerful and complex brew designed to improve with age.

22oz Bottle. The pour was a deep dark jet black with an average (1-2 finger) medium brown dense creamy head that reduced to a thin film with a small collar and had excellent sheeting of sticky lacing. The aroma was very robust with a burnt chocolate malt, light resin hops and a sweaty leathery yeast, with notes of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, vanilla and a bit of smoke. The taste was extremely malty and lightly sweet with a hint of chocolate for the first few seconds, and then became moderately bitter with a big coffee note, a hint of smoke and an almost overwhelming alcohol presence towards the finish. The flavor stuck around for an average duration after the swallow, with an alcohol infused espresso mocha taste left to settle in on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was full in body with an oily, dry texture and a very soft carbonation. Overall this was a very impressive brew, one which possessed a ton of flavor and a smooth easy drinkability. I believe I will buy another just to age, a brew like this can only get better and better...

Wonderful aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark malt, chocolate, coffee and soy. Luscious bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Truly a very enjoyable beer that lasts longer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

650 ml bottle from systembolaget bs. Pours black with big brown head. Roasted coffee aroma with loads of coffee taste. Chocolate and some vanilla notes. A bit raw finish with a very bitter after taste. Really nice, but a bit unballanced.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- definite malts and alcohol maybe some molasses. Appearance - with a foamy, thick 2inch head. Taste - A very strong brew, Imperial Stouts are not my favorite style of beer. Heavy dose of malt and a strong alcohol bite. The second glass full went down better (my guess the alcohol kicking in) Palate- A bitter malt and coffee affair with the dryness of the high alcohol content added to it Overall - A beer that I did not enjoy. I have read the reviews and either I am a complete knave or there may be a large portion of "emperor’s new clothes" going on with this beer’s rating.

650ml bottle poured vigorously jet black in color with a finger and a half of light brown head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is cocoa with dark roasted grains and dark fruits like plums or raisins. Taste is a roasted grain and pronounced hop bitterness with a dark fruity and chocolate malty sweetness. Medium to heavy bodied with light carbonation. A well crafted brew that suits the style nicely and is quite tasty and very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

(Bottle). Fine dry aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and some licorice. Big flavor of dark roasted malt, but rather soft in tone, taste of salty licorice. Long and dry taste of roasted malt, dry chocolate and licorice and pepper in the finish. Slightly tart fruity notes in the aftertaste. WOW! Impressive!

From bottle. This is the second time I have had this. I bought it again when I had the chance because I enjoyed it so much the first time. Pours completely opaque black with a beige head, but like many imperial stouts, takes vigorous pouring to bring up the head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is dry, chocolate, roasted malts. Finish is very slightly bitter. There’s a lot of flavor here. Alcohol content is huge, but nicely hidden. You’ll feel it, though, at 11.5% ABV. This is as good as I remembered, and I’ll buy it again. Love the brewery name and the label art. Love Clown Shoes!
