4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz Bottle. The pour was a deep dark jet black with an average (1-2 finger) medium brown dense creamy head that reduced to a thin film with a small collar and had excellent sheeting of sticky lacing.
The aroma was very robust with a burnt chocolate malt, light resin hops and a sweaty leathery yeast, with notes of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, vanilla and a bit of smoke.
The taste was extremely malty and lightly sweet with a hint of chocolate for the first few seconds, and then became moderately bitter with a big coffee note, a hint of smoke and an almost overwhelming alcohol presence towards the finish. The flavor stuck around for an average duration after the swallow, with an alcohol infused espresso mocha taste left to settle in on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was full in body with an oily, dry texture and a very soft carbonation.
Overall this was a very impressive brew, one which possessed a ton of flavor and a smooth easy drinkability. I believe I will buy another just to age, a brew like this can only get better and better...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a pitch black opaque colour with a cream head that left thin lacing. Aroma is bitter dark chocolate, raisins, and roasted malts with hints of herbal hops and alcohol. Flavor is bitter roasted, chocolate malts with dark fruits. Medium-full bodied with an assertive malt bitterness that is backed by an moderate hop backbone. Prefer the Ohio Unidragon, but a tasty beer nonetheless.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber with commonmac during the final four. Dark plum black with lucious tan head. Smells boozy, sweet, dark fruit, tartness. Roasty, sweet, chocolate dark fruit. Long lasting complexity. Slightly bitter, drying and tarter mouthfeel than expected. Roasted malt sugar booze dominates. Not as creamy as I would have thought. Take care when riding this dragon.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bomber style purchased at Elevated and consumed during Final Four at the house of commonshawn. Deep black with half finger of tan head. Aroma features chocolate, dark fruits, almost a Mexican style mole, and a little bit of roasty/smoky quality. Taste has traditional characteristics of an imperial stout - chocolate, roasted malts, tart dark fruit/plum - but with plenty of complexity. There is a subtle smokiness involved. You can feel the alcohol warmth. Dark chocolate bitterness in the finish. Long lasting aftertaste. Overall, it’s a little less sweet than I expected but a good sipping beer. Definitely worth sampling when you have the chance.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pours a black brown from a bottle. Tasting table sample. Roasty smokey chocolate smell is mostly overshadowed by smoke in the mouth, a little creosote in there. Offputting burnt licorice. Not my bag.
