COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This exotic stout is a relative of Chocolate Sombrero, with the Mexican spices replaced by the flavors of chai tea: ginger, caramom, cinnamon and vanilla. Dear head banging craft beer drinkers, please remember, "Our love for you is like a truck... BERSERKER!"

A unique stout, no question. The usual super-dark brown almost black color. Aroma is....ginger and cocoa I suppose? Taste is definitely ginger, cocoa and cinnamon. The ginger jumps out the most and gives it a spicy bite. The ginger hangs on the tongue well after. Worth a try, but probably not worth a repeat.

Black brown pour with rapidly fading tan head and lace. Aroma is licorice light chocolate and a hinto abv. Flavor is sweet chocolate, anise, and roasted malt. A good touch of malt bitter. Some abv warmth. Medium body with good carbonation. More anise than I really like but still ok.

Smells amazing. Tastes like dessert. Cinnamon and licorice dominate. Thick mouth feel. Good, but heavy still be careful

31 aug 2014, bottle. Black with some sediment. Nose is ginger up front and moderate ginger. Med/full body and moderately fizzy. Ginger and cinnamon and slightly bitter dark chocolate. As it warms up it gets sweeter. This is decent but it's just a ginger stout.

From tasting. Big alcoholic presence in this light bodies stout. Chocolate is big throughout. Ok.

650 ml. bottled 08/08/2013. Opaque with a lasting ring and small splotches of creamy bubbles. Nose is earthy dry cocoa, vanilla, prune and fruity red wine. Flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, raisins. Occasional touches of orange, tart apple and blackstrap molasses. Finish has some merlot and an earthy spiciness that hints at zesty ginger and white pepper. Medium-heavy body is to the sweet side, but the spices provide a nice balance with just a bit of tingle and astringency. Low-medium carbonation is smooth and pleasant.

bomber, nah, the spices are weird, the base imperial stout is great which pretty much saves it, the spices are too weird for me. Very disjointed.

From a bomber. Pours dark brown with a bubbly tan head. Smells like sweet vanilla, cinnamon, chai tea, and slightly astringent alcohol. Tastes like alcohol, dry chai tea, cinnamon.

Bottle. Pours deep, dark brown with creamy golden tan head. Aroma is chocolate, chai, cinnamon, light floral notes, light roasted malts, and faint plums. Flavor is roast and chocolate malt profile, some spices, faint dark fruit sweetness, and some earthy bitterness; dry, chocolate finish. Medium body and carbonation.
