This 22 oz bottle was courtesy of Strykzone. Dark brown pour with a big foam tan head and lots of good lacing rings. Nose of ripe dark fruit on a burnt malt base. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is roasted malts with floral hops. Light bitter and very tasty finish. An excellent brown.

22 oz bottle; nice dark pour with light tan long lasting head. not much aroma; palate was thin; flavor was a mix of sweet malt and bold hops - took me a few sips to get used to the hops but a good not great brown..

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Light to moderate malt notes of roasted and caramel, moderate pine and herbs for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with background notes of toffee, cola, milk and dark dried fruit. Head is large, frothy, light beige with excellent lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy mahogany. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery verging on dry with a soft carbonation. A really ice hopped up Brown Ale that meets in the middle of being deep and easy drinking.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
A: The beer pours a clear brown color with a tall tan colored head.
S: Smells strongly of burnt rubber. There’s definitely some citrus character to it, so it seems at least a little bit hoppy. Maybe a bit of burnt bread. Just a really off, harsh aroma, though.
T: Doesn’t taste very good either. Quite a bit of rubber on the flavor as well. Some toasted malt and charred malt. A little bit of booze. Maybe some earthy hop notes.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: I hope that this beer isn’t supposed to taste like this because it was just awful.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from a 22oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a large creamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was light dryish tobacco, wood and a touch of rum. The flavor was dry, woody and roasty with notes of tobacco, smoke, hickory, faint fruity hops and a touch of butterscotch underneath. The finish was medium length dry wood, tobacco and roasty malts. Medium body. Ok.
