COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brown Angel comes at you with three levels. At the heart the beer is layer upon layer of pure, delicious malt. Columbus and Amarillo hops add an intense hop presence while a final layer of East Kent Goldings delivers a delicate floral finish. This is NOT your old school brown, but a rather sexy American interpretation.

Aroma of caramel and chocolate and some random dark fruits. Reddish mud brown color. Flavor is more nutty but also more bitter than most browns. Thicker body that’s not overly filling. Couldn’t resist the offensive name, and look at the girl...she’s wearing the shoes.

Not my favorite by these guys but still a solid brew. Malts definitely are more pronounced than the hops, but that is to be expected. Solid chocolate, caramel and dark fruit notes

Darker than expected. Two fingers of a tan/brown head. Carbonation itself seems a little high for the brown style. Slightly nutty smell with some bready malts and not much hops. Mouthfeel is a little thin and did not meet my expectations. Not much hops in the flavor.. Getting some caramel, toffee and chocolate flavors. Overall, not bad.

Bottle. Transparent brown with tan head. Very light aroma of caramel and citrus. Taste is hoppy, almost IPA-ish, with citrus, caramel and cocoa. A tasty sweet and citrus finish. This is probably my new favorite brown ale.

Pours a amber brown with a two finger tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, nuts, caramel, sweet malts, pine, and some grassy hops. Taste is toasted malts, nutty malts, pine, grassy hops, sweet malts, caramel, citrus, light booze, and some toffee notes. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice, robust brown ale.

22oz bottle, BeerCraft. Bright brown, with light tan foam, nice lacing. Cola, roasted peanuts, and brown sugar in the nose; a bit muted; balanced by piney hops. Nice, lively nuttiness and cola in here; even a lightly creamy, lactic quality once it warms; smooth but with nice texture; one of the more interesting brown ales I've had lately.
