3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2010 Bottle… Clear, dirty orange ale with a huge, frothy, white head that diminishes to a small, tight, white cap that is in no hurry to go anywhere anytime soon. Strange, but enjoyable, aroma – tangerine, toasted nuts and milk chocolate. Medium-bodied and raspy with prickly carbonation. The flavor is all about milk chocolate, bitter orange peel and gentle, citric acidity. Finishes chocolaty and fairly bitter with a rumor of tartness. Definitely infected, but may God bless whatever bug is in here. Took a boring, used-up style and made it relevant.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Premiere. A sweet aroma. Enormous soapy head, lacey. Long bitter finish. In a word: nutty brown. Very drinkable Hops and malting is so balanced. Better than its rating in the sense that I would serve this regular to people if available down the street. Great for the style.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2010 Sample from a bottle shared by Brad at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. The beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium frothy off-white head that burns away quickly. Sticky rings of lacing. Aroma of toasted bread and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of sweet toasted malt, milk chocolate and some fruit. The finish is sweet and malty, with a very light hops aftertaste. Just average overall.
